Mr Gelato by Matteo is known for its authentic Italian gelato that is every person’s ice cream dream! This place makes the most luscious and creamy gelato that stands out among other gelato makers in Sydney.

Before signing on with WB Media, Mr Gelato’s presence on social platforms lacked flair, creativity and engagement. Mr Gelato needed an improvement in photo content so their gelato and sweets could be given the recognition they deserve. Mr Gelato were also looking to promote holiday specials through publicity via food publications to spread the word on their delicious offerings.

RESULTS

After Mr Gelato By Matteo signed on with WB Media, there has been a positive shift in the aesthetic layout of the socials, but most importantly, there has been a clear increase in engagement. Mr Gelato has had an average increase of 150% on their posts in just 2 months. We focussed on showcasing the key message Mr Gelato prides themselves on- fresh, artisan Italian gelato by the beach. With the introduction of weekly reels, daily stories and consistent static posts Mr Gelato’s socials have been taken to new heights, resulting in a successful content strategy.

We also successfully advertised a Mr Gelato Christmas holiday campaign promoting their gelato filled panettone and pandoro through Instagram and TikTok video content reaching over 20k views. As a result of WB Media’s PR expertise, this special was published in Urban List, Concrete Playground, Timeout and Pedestrian TV giving Mr Gelato increased exposure resulting in a sell-out of these specials.
